South Sound School Gardens (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a nonprofit organization based in Tumwater, Washington. We respect your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through southsoundschoolgardens.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, your area of interest (for example, volunteering or partnering), and your message. This information is emailed to our team so we can respond to you.
Donations. Donations are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s secure website. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us the information needed to record and acknowledge your gift, such as your name, email address, donation amount and date. Stripe’s use of your information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Technical information. Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the site running. Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Spam protection. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and automated abuse. When you use the form, Turnstile checks technical information from your browser (such as your IP address and browser details) to confirm you are a person, without using advertising cookies. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website (for example, which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located), so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your browser type, device, pages viewed and an approximate location. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it for advertising. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We do not use advertising cookies.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us operate (such as our website host, email provider, Stripe, Cloudflare and Google), or when required by law.
Children’s privacy
Our programs serve students, but this website is intended for adults: parents, educators, volunteers, partners and donors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Stripe and Cloudflare. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
How long we keep information
We keep messages and donation records only as long as needed to respond to you, run our programs, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
Your choices
You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing us at the address below.
